  • The Village purchased from Rumsey & co. of Seneca Falls, NY in 1878
  • A ten man, piano style village fire engine with iron folding brakes
  • It has brass cylinders 41/2" dia. with a 7" stroke
  • Will throw a 1/2" stream of water 120 feet
  • The suction hose is carried squirrel tail fashion.
  • Pumps still pump water today
